Some things change, some things stay the same

Welcome to Coffee Matters, Avanti’s very own, brand new blog! We’re going to do our best to keep you entertained on a regular basis with witty posts and insightful uploads – all coffee related of course. At Avanti, we’re a little obsessed with that little brown bean.

With the humble bean in mind, we thought what better way to kick-off our first post, than to take a well-deserved, albeit brief, break (over a cuppa) and reflect on the past month. It certainly has been a busy one at Avanti.

The title of this post should give you a bit of insight into what life at Avanti has been like recently – busy, busy with lots of change, but all very exciting! We’re a couple of weeks away from moving into our brand new office space and we seriously cannot wait. It’s bigger, brighter and a huge next step for the business.

There’s still a bit of packing left to do before we move home, and I’ve heard many a relieved ‘Thank-goodness-I-work-for-a-coffee-company’ sigh. We’re all VERY happy to have the best caffeine in Johannesburg keeping us fuelled for this last stretch. We can’t wait to show you photos of our new space as soon as we’re settled in, so please watch this space.

New office, new look

In addition to the move, the Avanti brand has also recently undergone some exciting changes. We’ve refreshed our overall look and feel, launched this new website (please take a few minutes to have a peak) and given our Facebook Page a much-needed injection of life. This evolution of the Avanti brand marks the beginning of exciting things to come for the business, and we hope to keep you updated as the months progress.

With everything going on recently, and everything that still lies ahead, we take great comfort in knowing that while Avanti is definitely about to embark on a brand new adventure as a business, some things will never change… Specifically our coffee – that we know you love as much as we do. That blessed bean has kept the Avanti team sane while packing, inspired during our meetings, and most of all excited to share its unique, expertly roasted flavour with you!
